Meld Studio just dropped an AI-powered tool that lets streamers build custom overlays and alerts from a text prompt. The reaction from the streaming community has been... complicated. Spark runs on Google Gemini and lets you describe what you want, chat overlays, alerts, and lower thirds, and it builds them for you. That's a big deal for streamers who previously had to either buy pre-made assets or know enough code to build their own. The backlash has been real, though, and it's understandable.
